MY TWO AWESOME HELPERS
Yes, I am still here and big and pregnant. I am now almost to 36 weeks. This is great for the babies, mom is struggling to keep her chin up. The contractions are still happening pretty frequently but not enough to go in. I keep telling the hubby who wants to take me to the hospital that I'd rather be miserable at home then in the hospital. The good news is they have set an induction date for Wednesday, June 2. So if nothing happens before then we know for sure they will be here next Wed. :) And with me going this long they don't think the babies will have to be in NICU. It would be great if we could bring them both home.
I am also grateful that I didn't go any earlier too, because I got to see my amazing 7 yr. old perform in her gymnastics program. She did fabulous if I do say so myself. She astounds me with her desire to practice all the time and get better and better. You can see her efforts on stage. She is also a huge help to me at home and a wonderful big sister. She is excited for these two little ones and ready to help in anyway she can.
Well, friends and family, hopefully the next post will show pictures of the twins and our relieved, smiling faces.
So excited (and relieved) for you guys... I will be thinking about you tomorrow. Best wishes, lots of hugs and prayers. Can't wait to see those two precious babes. And by the way, Craig is NOT driving next week. :) He'll need his sleep.
